Dilwara Jain Temple, Mount Abu

Nestled in the laps of Aravalli Hills in Mount Abu, the Delwara Temples represent the finest craftsmanship exemplified by the devotion, persistence, and spiritual rising of the Jain Community and every individual who stood in support of this exemplar edifice across the last few centuries. The temples hold a pristine position in the minds of the Jain Community spread across the globe and have a distinct position for those who go on spiritual quests across India. Built between the 11th & 16th centuries, they have carved their identity across the psyches of historians, travellers, and architects with their extravagant, meticulous, and unparalleled marble stone-carved structure.

The Delwara Temples complex hosts five distinct temples, each representing the deepest values of devotion in the Jain community. Standing tall in the forested hills, the Vimal Vasahi Temple and the Pittalhara Temple represent the grand stature of the first Jain Tirthankara Shri Adinatha. Similarly, Luna Vasahi is dedicated to the 22nd Jain Tirthankara Shri Neminatha. In contrast, Parshvanatha Temple is dedicated to the 23rd Jain Tirthankara Shri Parshvanatha. The Mahavir Swami Temple in the same premises is devoted to the 24th Jain Tirthankara Shri Vahaviraswami.

Shri Kalyanji Paramanandji Pedhi, Sirohi skilfully maintains the temple premises.
